Sunday

Today is a raining but hot weather day. Cook fried rice with prawns and garlic for dinner just now. Hehe dearest seems like to eat. Suddenly thought of the steam toufu with fish paste. Hehe. Quite some time since I last cook that already.

Hmm oh my god, going to be older by a year old soon. Hmmm... Many thoughts now. Hehe. Feeling good today as the weather seems so nice even thought bit hot.

2 more hours to go before 1st of December. Hmmm work again tomorrow. Time so fast past. Scary. Haha. Lately too many news about the biggest story that shocks all Singaporean hearts. You will indeed never know what will happens next. I will just treasure my life, treasure my family and loves ones. Treasure every single seconds, minutes, hours and day that I have in my life. Who knows what will happen? Nobody knows. =)

Eyes feeling tired as usual. Hopefully able to collect my contact lens real soon. Hmmm.

I have done some research for the website and planning to post it up today. Yeah!

Weekend again

Yeah its weekend again. Yesterday was a busy but mono day for me. Haha. I went to attend a convention at Suntec with some colleagues in the early afternoon after which we had our lunch and headed back to office. Got quite a few nice freebies. Hehe. I went to Suntec with dearest for dinner and went to took some pictures with the Precious Moments at Suntect City. Sad that the pictures turn out isn't well. I am quite dark in it. But I like this picture, just sad that it does not have me in it.



Today, I went to meet some of my QAD gals at JP for lunch and treated me eat at Crystal Jade today. Feeling full and glad to meet up with them. One of them bought me a Picard card holder with keychian as my birthday gift. ~Thanks Xuan~

Although two of our QAD gals have something on after our lunch at around 3pm+, we went to West Mall to meet up with our long lost QAD member, Patrick. Haha went for him quite sometime before he eventually reached. He treated both of us at Swensen and I realised that Swensen's Ribeye Steak is not nice as compared to Sizzler. It is quite a small portion and hard to eat as the meat is not tender at all. Hehe.

Eyes feeling tired as usual... Hmmm.

Tired

Feeling sleepy and body feel tired today.

Reached work early today as there are some issues needed to be settle by today. Hmmm... Last night went to have dinner with dearest at Vivocity. Hehe saw some piglets at Guardian. Seems expensive to me. Hmmm Anyway, today office will be having the monthly collidoscope as part of the staff welfare activities in the afternoon. As usual, celebrating the birthday babies of the month.

Birthday is coming soon. X'mas is coming as well. Hehe time move real fast. Another year is coming soon. Hmmm... Many thoughts in my mind now. Haha.

Cold Knee

Hmmm, woke up this morning with a bad rhemu on my knee cap. Haiz. I must really start exercise often as well as once I woke up to stretch my leg more often.

Not sure is it because of the cold weather. I heard many elderly people will always say that rhemu is always due to cold weather or going to rain soon. Some even say that it is due to no proper taken care of when young. Haha. I think for my case is both. Normally after I feel rhemu, it will be raining and I remember that when I was in Primary School I had fallen down and injured both my knee caps and didn't really take care of it well coz I was so young that time and used to have a fan blowing at the direction of my leg. Hehe.

Talking about younger days, oh my! Time move so fast. I missed my old house where my room is 2x bigger than the current room and also the living room, kitchen, dinning room are bigger as well. Even though the master bedroom in the current house is bigger then my old house but still overall, old house is always bigger than the new ones.

Remember the good old days whenever Hari Raya, my neighbours will cook many foods and will always send over many plates of foods over to us and when it is Chinese New Year, we will send over some Chinese kuehs to them as well. So warmly neighbour. Now, all have shifted out and lost contact. Current neighbour are friendly but not more interact as compared to my old house.

Time to work hard now and strive for more $$. Save more and spend less. That is my motto ever since I met my dearest. Hehe can't wait for 6 Dec to faster come. =)

Hmmm

Hmmm, work very stressful today. Many things happen today. Many problems at work to solve as usual. Hopefully able to settle all this week.

I am bit happy instead of attending the two convention this coming Thursday and Friday, I only need to attend only on Friday before lunch. Hehe. Tomorrow will still be a bit busy in the morning as need to continue settle some issue and chase payment. Hmm... Verify a very long claim today before knocking work, making me and my assistant headache.. Hahaha.

Sudden urge to sing. Hehe. Lalalalala Missing my dearest now... Hehe

Busy Day

I had a very busy day today. Weather seems so hot outside office but seems so stuffy inside office. Haha. Work getting busier and busier. I had lunch with my two bosses and some of my other colleagues at Tg Pagar Food Centre where one of them drove all of us there. They wanted to eat the Peanut Red Bean ice-kachang for lunch dessert. Wow, the dessert taste nice and not too sweet.



Lately there are many flu virus going around both outside and inside office. Hopefully I won't get it again. I am feeling bit tired now... Will read some emails before I head to my dream. Hehe. What shall I dream today? Hmmm dream a sweet birthday this year? Hmmm dream of piglet? Oh ya, talking about piglet now. I saw many piglets at Watsons and Guardian today. Seems like lately many shops are selling Winnie the Pooh and his friends including Tigger, Eeyore and my all time favourite - Piglets. I never get sick and tired of Piglets coz they are my childhood companion. Hehe.

Hmmm piglets. Hehe. Previously I have seen many huge Eeyore, Tigger and Pooh but no Piglet. Lately saw this huge Piglet at Carefour. Oh my, after so many years I finally manage to see such a huge piglet bear. But sad to say, I am not fated to have it. Anyway I leave it to fate. Hehe.

Wonderful Day

Today is a tired but a wonderful day. I guess I have a wonderful weekend overall. Hehe.

Back to work again tomorrow. Time to work even harder. Hmmm... Tomorrow will still be a busy day for me. Balancing is what my work priority now for the next few days. Haha. Feeling bit headache now, I guess not enough sleep today.

I woke up at 6+am today after which went out with my parent to a uncle place and after that reached home around 2pm. I went to have a short rest while waiting for my dearest. Had dinner with him at Bt Panjang Plaza before we head back home to watch Wei Xiao Bao. Aiyo that Wei Xiao Bao is indeed a funny chap. So many cracky ideas and laughter he caused. BUT, a guy can't have too many wives nor lovers like Wei Xiao Bao. If this happens, the guy is not faithful as well as this will surely upsets his love ones badly. A normal girl will not allow this to happen on herself. Which girl on this earth are willing to share their love and husband to another girls, not to say a group of girls.

Weather seems good tonight. Hehe. One of my friends asked me how am I going to celebrate my birthday this year. Hmmm QAD 2 gals are bringing me out for lunch this coming Saturday and together with another December QAD gal. It been quite some time since we last have our gathering. Happy thing is that, although we seldom met, but we do keep updates with each other on MSN or on the phone. We will always be there for each other whenever any of us need helps or meet any problems. I will never forget our incident that happen in our ITE days. We strive thru the toughest class as well as our CBS days. We have many ups and downs together.

I still remember how we trash things out if we are not happy with one another and after that clear any mis-communication and thereafter all will be clear and back to normal. Glad to still keep in touch with our Tai-Ho Mummy and the rest of the QAD group.

I start to sense time indeed move real fast. So fast, tomorrow is Monday and it means another new week ahead. But nevertheless, I had a wonderful weekend this week and I am very happy already.

It's weekend

Wow, weekend is here again. Bit speechless of words to write today but just to drop by my blog and do some updating.

Spend a good time today, cooked some new dishes that we have never tried before. Hehe. And of course our usual dessert - Green Bean Soup. It is very tasty. Hehe.

On Leave

I am on leave today. Went to the dentist this late morning and after that head home to rest. I feel that sometimes one should take a break from work once a while to relax yourself. Hehe.

I had a bad headache and don't feel bit well this morning. But now feel much better after some rest. Planning what to do later on. Thinking of seeing piglet again but then I guess it will be lesser coz last week left a little only.

I was enquiring on some vocal courses which I am interested to join but then I will need to consider theses 5 parts before I decide:

1. Price of the course
2. Place of the course
3. Details of the course
4. Flexibility
5. Duration

I love to sing and like to sing to destress. Once a instructor have taught me long time ago is that if you want to sing well, you got to read the lyrics, listen to the song before you start to sing. This will allows you to know how to grasp hold of your breath and vocal properly. I totally agree on this.

Going for a vocal lesson does not mean leading to professional line in the future. But it is also to allow you to sing well as well as sing as a form of hobby. Not necessary a must to join the glamour line. It is up to fate on such matter. If you have the potential and there are people who willing to groom you, why not? But such things are fated or not fated, so try not to look too far.

BUT another point of view is that if you can sing well, why not join a singing competition and earn some prices for yourself. Haha.

Sad

Feeling sad today don't know why. Hmmm.

Work today quite busy. Many things to rush and errors to solve. Still managable currently. I am feeling kind of mono today at work. WY keep asking me if I am alright coz I seems so adnormal today. I guess I just feel kind of sad and don't really have the mood there.

I just work, work and work coz priority at work is to solve those errors. Others things are to put aside. I got shoot arrow again to attend a convention next Thursday and Friday at Suntec. Hmmmm I told my bosses straight that if I got another arrow again, I sure not very happy coz why am I always the one who got such arrow. There are so many newbies around, they can call them to attend mah. Haiz.

Today a collegue ask me how am I going to celebrate my birthday. Hmmm and I told her a short trip only. For sure this year, almost whole office will sing birthday song to me coz every month there will be a mini birthday celebration. Example, all October babies gather together and we will sing a song for them with a cake in front of them. Sounds interesting to me coz I never felt the feeling of whole office sing a birthday song to me. Haha I know it sounds silly. But to me, birthday is a once a year thing and I used to envy people who celebrate birthday.

Ever since I know my dearest, I started to feel happy coz I got a chance to celebrate with my close friends and some collegues last year. This year, I am not sure how will my birthday be but I know I will be going on a short trip with my dearest which is one of my wishes.

Have many mixed feelings, unable to describle it. Hmmm... Will be on leave tommorow, having a dentist appointment. Hmm...

Eyes feeling tired again

Feeling tired today again when I woke up this morning. Kind of bit mood down today. Many thoughts in my mind. Weather is so nice this early morning, don't really feel like getting up so fast. But there are still work needed to be done. Eyes is feeling very tired today. Hmmm...

Stomach as usual feeling kind of uncomfortable. =( Today will be a tough day for me coz work will be very busy. Busy solving work issue. Haha.

Don't know why feel kind of down today. Life is always full of ups and down, it is just how the way you handle it. I know sometimes I just don't handle it well and always say the wrong things. Last night unable to sleep well. Too many thoughts on my mind. I am trying to reflect on myself. There are many errors and mistake that I have make in my entire life. But there will be one decision that I won't be regretting. That is being with that someone who no matter what will be always the dearest to me and supporting me in whatever I do. =) I really treasure my that someone dearly and treasure alot. Hmm.

Swollen eye lid

Have a busy and tired work today. Trying to solve a problem that I have discovered after generating the financial report from the system. Hmmmm... Went to buy the Optrex Eye Lotion with Eye bath to bath my eyes during lunch. My eyes feel good and refresh after that. It helps to calm sore eyes or any itchy eyes. I used to purchase that and let my eye to bath once a week but I have not been doing so for many months. I guess it is time for me to continue my usual routine so that I can protect my eyes well.

Last night was such a terrible night as my left eye felt so comfortable. Tears are flowing non-stop and feel kind of even uncomfortable when I close my eyes. But keep trying my best to sleep, no choice as I got work today.

Going to bath my eyes again. Ta-Ta.

It's Monday

It is a very bright morning today. My eyes as usual feeling tired but still manageable. Thinking of yesterday when I went to my usual optical shop to change my contact lenses. OMG! The price have increased to double. From $360 to $600+ within 2 years time. I have no choice but to ask for a cheaper source since it is expensive. Almost everything seems increases. Haiz.

In the end, instead of ordering from a Australia company, the optician order for me from US/UK and it will be at around $300+, cheaper than the current one. My sight degree is high as well as I can't fit into the normal lens hence I have to measure made and I have been wearing lenses for almost 8 years already. Hmmm.

Going to course later. I think it is a great advantage for me coz I can state in my resume that I have learn this application system before. Hehe. It will be good for future job if I want to change environment. Right now, I do not wish to change my job environment yet coz I enjoy working here and working here have many job opportunities and challenges. Hehe.

Weekend so fast over

Oh my... Weekend so fast going to be over soon. Hmmmm. I am feeling tired and sleepy now. How I wish I can have a long weekend. Haha. Time is forever not enough.

Last night went to the tour fair at Suntec and had a very full dinner at Sizzler. I guess I really like to eat beef especially in steak. Hehe. So juicy and meaty. But still must control my diet. Hehe. If not I will become like beef, so fatty and meaty. Hahahaha.

Saw many tour package and saw one that we like. Desaru. Never being there before and thought that it would be great if I can go there coz I like to see different types of fruits, foods as well as it is a different types of experience as compared to previous tours that I have been to before.

For example, Malacca is a place that I have some memory on the tour as I went there three times and I like the place and the tour there. Went there with Xin together in a school day tour when we are in our school days. Previously in secondary heritage tour trip also went there before. If you go on tour in Malacca, they will surely bring you to this Tan Kim Hock factory where they sell the very nice lime juice. Hehe. Xin and I sure remember their tea egg there is tasty too. Hahaha. They have the famous Aik Cheong coffee factory too.

Another trip to Malaysia is to one of their Batu Caves where you can see many lime stones, but I can't really remember which part of Malaysia. Did some research on Googles Search and found that it is in KL. Selangor tour is also quite interesting where they will bring you to the pewter factory and introduce to you something similar to 925 silver called Selangor Pewter.

Hmmm, I am eager on the short trip to Desaru soon. Hehe... Can eat as much as we can and see as much scenary as we can. Look at the sea view. So nice.

Weekend

Finally, another weekend is here. Time move so fast. Last weekend seems to be like only yesterday. Haha.

I woke up with a heavy eyes this morning. Feeling very tired last night and slept thru the night so nice. Will be meeting dearest and his friend later for dinner. Hehe I plan to go to the tour fair first before we head for the dinner. Want to check it out and see if there is any nice and not so expensive tour. Hehe.

I was the first one to pass my dearest his gift, feel so happy that he likes it. Hehe. I am not being kiasu but just feel like being the first one to give him. Hehe. =) Hope to have a nice weekend ahead. Yeah!

Tired and Busy Thursday

Today, I had a extremely busy day at work. Weather is so cold almost for the whole day. Eyes felt so dry now. In the morning, work was quite as usual till after lunch, work load still to increase as today is the submission for the bank reconciliation statement. My assistant and I went lunching in and after that we continue the necessary adjustment and addition checking. After that it was already late afternoon. Both of us felt so tired after seeing so many figures and trying to solve some problems that we encountered.

I seldom work overtime ever since I join this place but only when there are cases of reports need to be rushed or whenever the next day I am on leave. I feel fortunate to be in this place which is still new to me coz I feel that there are many things I still need to learn and used to it. The culture, work environment, work flow, etc. I just ate my late dinner around an hour ago. Eyes still feel so dry. Hmmm. Thinking of something for tomorrow now. Hehe.

Busy Day

Had a busy and cold day today. Weather is cold outside and cold in the office as well. Doing reconciliation and clearing my email is one of the main task that I do today. Every day work is so challenging. Having receiving so many email means more things to clear. Haiz.



Assistant is on child leave today and tomorrow so hopefully tomorrow won't be as busy as today at least. Two bosses not in the office for the whole half a day but that does not mean I have nothing to do. Haha. Work are still kept the same. But although I do indeed plan to leave at 5.45pm yet last minute unable to do so due to some last minute work arises, but still at least my bosses recognise my hard work. If I have bosses who don't recognise their subordinate hard work, I won't feel the challenge and motivation at work. We not only work to just get pay but also put our knowledge in use and strive for the highest.

I am still having running nose and cough, but my cough today felt much better then yesterday even though still have it. I hope as days pass, it will go away from me. Hehe.

As days passes, my once a year event is coming. My dearest's birthday is coming soon as well. Hmmm... My wishes? Hoping to have a BB or PC Wallet this year. Hehe Suddenly I was wondering can I have two present this year. Hehe but then I won't want to ask so much, as long as my dearest is happy, I will be happy. Oh ya, take a look at our Fat Pig. He is getting fatter, bigger and fiercer each day. He likes to throw temper too. Hehe.

A rushing but a great weekend

Wow, I had a rushing but a great weekend. Although it will be ending soon in a few hours time, but I still enjoy it very much.

I find it short and rush as there are many places to go and ended up not much time to shop. But I treasure my time there. I did manage to shop at a supermarket for some snacks to bring to my nice, friendly collegues. Haha I guess they will be happy to see snacks.

I had a block nose since Friday and oh my, it have being itchy throat as well. Hmmm... Ehem.. Ehem... Haha. Planning for my coming day of the year again. Hmmmm was thinking of going back there again or elsewhere. Hehe.

Itchy Eyes

Having an itchy eyes after I took down my contacts. I guess it is time to change my contact lens soon. Hehe.

Feeling bit tired and bit moody today. Came to office early today and surprised to saw QAD Er Di when she so happens to see me from downstairs and I saw her from upstairs. Hehe so coincidence. Hmmm saw that I received a total of 158 emails today when I on my email inbox. Steady ar. Haha. It broke the previous record of 90+ emails.

Haha. Ok lah not to say to compare how many emails I received when I am on leave but it also means the work load that I have? Currently many checking of accounts and works needed to be done ever since the corruption incident. Feel so unsafe with that stupid system. My motivation comes from my love and my work now. My goals now are to strive for the best and enjoy my life till the fullest.

I woke up this morning with a very big eye bag and dark rings go deeper due to irregular sleep. Hmmm oh gosh, I must work seriously hard on my complexion from today onwards. Jia You!

Stomache

I had a bad stomache upon waking up this early morning, ended up official getting up from my bed around 9. Went to have breakfast before I head for my books again.

Feeling confident for tomorrow paper but early to say as I do not want to be over confident. Time is moving fast and today is already Tuesday. So fast one week have past and I have planned on some thing for this coming weekend trip when I am having my meals or resting. Hehe. Make use of the time to plan. Thinking of something sweet but then not too sweet. =p

Hmmm stomache still don't feel well but still manageable. Ok time to go back to my books. Hehe was thinking, I should be mentally prepared that my work load will increase once I go back to office on Thursday, especially all emails that is in my inbox. Haha.

OMG! Having cough again.

Hmmm oh my. Cough is here again. Hmmmm hopefully is just itchyness of throat. Just ate my dinner and intending to continue my revision. Can't wait for it to finish and relax myself this coming weekend.

Received some sms from work today. Hmmm, too bad I am only be able to help when I can only. I was in the exam when the handphone rings, luckily I have switched to the silent mode and hence no disturbance. Hehe.

Currently feeling sore itchyness in my throat. Hmmm online blogging now and going off to my books soon. Time is moving fast each day. Wooowwweeee. Haha. Suddenly when I recalled my wish lists, there is this small wishes of mine, hope to fufill this year. Hehe.

Nervous Monday

Start to feel the nervousness today. I woke up early this morning and start to head for my final revision for the afternoon paper. Kind of nervous coz I am afraid I am not able to do well. Confident level is there but will naturally feel nervous.

Today paper is OB, when people hear of it might think it is easy but it isn't as there is alot of contracting and linkage behind each chapters of it.

For example: Use theories and explain how workers are motivated.

Answer that I have done:

Motivation is something that initiates, energises and directs a behaviour.

Using Herzberg's 2 factor theory, there are 2 factors - motivator and hygiene factors.
Motivator factors consist of:

Recognition

Advancement

Work itself.

Hygiene factors consist of:

Salary
Supervision
Working conditions
Interpersonal R/S
Company policy

There must be a job satisfaction and no job dissatisfaction in this theory. Workers will feel job satisfaction if the motivator factors are present and will have no job dissatisfaction if the hygiene factors are present. Thus, workers will feel motivated in their work when they are satisfy in their job.

Using Vroom's expectancy theory, shows the force of motivation in the workers results from the expectancy with the attractiveness.

Efforts -> Performance -> Outcome => Rewards

Rewards can be intrinsic or extrinsic thus able to change employee's behaviour in their work and enable them to feel more motivated in their job.

A person with a needs of rewards, can feel motivated if there is rewards awarded to him as a result of the positive outcome of the work done and feel motivated by rewards awarded to him base on excellent performance.

Hot Day

Overslept today but luckily able to reach there on time. I went to the TNP Big Walk today. The weather is hot today. Hmmm... The Big Walk today was quite interesting coz the ending point this year is at the newly opened Marina Barrage, a newly formed fresh water reserviour.

There are so many people as well as childrens. We met one of our ex-colleagues with his whole family there. Singapore indeed very small. 20,000 people for the event, yet we still can met people that we know.

Came back feeling tired and unable to sleep although have a rest on my eyes for an hour. There are many stuffs in the goodie bags. Hehe. I have already planned to go this walk as I never went before. Feeling quite happy and feel refreshed after some perspire.

Cooked my own dinner today as parent are not at home. A simple dishes of fried egg, veges and soup with whatever I can find in the fridge. I like to cook, not sure what is the reason. But I love to cook for my dearest especially. Today is my practice time to try out another way of cooking the veges. Hehe. Kai Lan with dried shrimp but turn out not to bad. =)

Sweet Day

Today I had a very nice and sweet day. Although not 100% fully a sweet day but still feeling nice and sweet. I enjoy myself today.

Woke up very early in the morning and did some revision. In the afternoon, went out to meet my dearest to spend a nice afternoon together coz it is our special day today. I treated him to a KTV session at Party World and luckily I am a member there. Hehe. Got some discounted price.

I want to start to train my dearest in his breathing and vocal skills from now on whenever we go KTV. Hmmmm he have the potential skills but do not want to put in use. After that, my dearest treated me to a nice and full dinner before I went home. Ok finish my short and sweet blogging for now. Ta-Ta.
