Nice weekend

I had a wonderful weekend. Tried to cook curry chicken and this time round was quite successful.





After cooking it, feel so blissful and happy. Hehe. Previously we try for the first time was quite unsuccessful, but surprisingly these was the 2nd time we tried cook and eventually it turned out to be a success. Woohooo. I just love the curry with not only chicken but also the potato and lady finger in it. Not many people cook curry chicken with lady finger but it can be part of the perfect dish too. Hehe.

I had quite a bad Monday today but shall not mentioned it here. Do not wish to spolit my mood. Hahaha.

Hygiene

I had a very bad morning experience yesterday. It was sooooo disgusting thing that happen to me so early in the morning. Actually these was what had happened. . . .


As usual, I took my dad's car to Amoy Street Hawker Centre before heading to work. I was closing the car door after I seat inside, I felt a sudden uneasy feeling on my hand. When I saw what was it, first word that came into my mind was YUCKS. It was a USED tissue at the car door's handle.

Apparantly, some of my dad's collegues who hitch a ride from my dad's car on Thursday did not throw away his/her tissue after using it. It was so sticky and disgusting. I can't imagine what if that person have H1N1 and maybe I will be the first to get it. Haha.

I still do not know who was the culprit and my dad can't remember which of his collegue had sat on that side of the car that day as well. Anyway, no matter what, a person should not leave a used tissue anywhere and anyhow after using it. The most importantly is not to leave any used tissue at other people place. This is not only personal hygiene issue but a person's moral integrity issue as well. Thinking back, I am still a little fed-up of such person.

If I ever find out who was that person, I will defintely voice out to him/her.

Raining Rainy

This few days was a rainy day. So cold and ended up my knee feeling rhemu the whole day today. Haiz.

Had a very busy day today... Feeling tired and sleepy now. Got to wash my clothes shortly then afterwhich head to bed. Hehe. When I was on the way back, I thought of changing my blog design. Hmmm must find a better design that suit me.. Haha.

7th month

I will like to share a interesting story that I have heard from my Dad.

His colleague has told him about a weird encounter while working late in the office. Recently his colleague is working late in the office and was about to go home when he heard kids playing at the staircase and went to have a look. He saw a kid playing with a basketball near the staircase. Hmmm he did not think further at that point of time, he ignored and walk straight to his office to take his bag. After he left, he recall the whole scene again and suddenly felt scared. He then quickly realised something is not right and went back home straight away.

This month is the 7th month where the chinese people will know this month as the "Hungry Ghost Festival". Some might think this true story is just a story. Some maybe scared while some will not. It depends on individual thinking perhaps.

But then again, the office building's history had a long history and the building age many years. Previously it was an old hospital. When the hospital was relocated, his company bought over the whole building, keeping it exterior the same and only renovated the interior.



Anyway, thought of posting some cute picture of this cartoon. Haha.

Busy day

Had a busy day today. Kind of "drowsy" with all the emails that I received. Thinking back now, I guess I really have to think carefully.

What I really want, what do I want for my future, etc.

Hmmmmm. Two of my close collegues went on a "sakura" trip. Haha I am refering to Japan. Woooooo, but then there are pros and cons going on a business trip. Even if the place is so nice and wonderful, there are still work to be completed. Haha. Reports, reports and more reports.

Ok time to do some reflections before heading to bed. Hmmmm.

Oh oh, had quite a very full dinner tonight. But main thing is hoping that dearest like the cooking. Hehe. Although quite simple but the dishes are healthy. Haha.

This dish is quite tiring. Chicken have to be slice first then chop into smaller bits and hence eventually become minced meat. The different between manually chop chicken into minced and those machine grinded minced chicken, the tastes are different.

We had red spinach for our soup. Overall still not bad. Dearest did not say it taste horrible. Haha. Hmmmm. Weather seems bit hot and stuffy now. Rain, rain please come again. Haha.

Coolll Sunday

This early afternoon was cooling and raining outside. Waiting for the right time to cook lunch and for my dearest to come.

Pop-by to NTUC this morning and saw some food on offer hence bought some to cook for my dearest for our lunch and dinner. Simple dishes ba. =) Hopefully he like it.

Enjoyable Saturday

This week was quite a bad week for me again. But I have a enjoyable day today.

Last night had dinner with my dearest at PS one of the dinning shops downstair at the basement. We had a very full dinner in the end. Hehe. Now we know and we will not order the fish and chip again next time. (you may want to know why by looking at the below pictures, haha)

The reasons why I said I had an enjoyable Saturday today is because I have attend some talks with my dearest and after that meet some of my ITE close friends for dinner. So happy to meet them for dinner. We are seldom full in attendance. Haha. Althought short of one (Patrick aka Kelson) as usual but then we are used to it. Haha. But we girls are considered full in attendance. Hehe.

After dinner we went to Wang's cafe and have some chit chat session there. Hehe AhXuan ordered one of the set and I ate the half-boiled egg. I have not eat halfboiled egg for quite some time liao. But to prevent high cholestrol, I decided to try and avoid eggs as part of my meals for next few days. Hehe.

Gastric

Today stomach kind of feeling very very sour and cramps since middle of night. Feeling quite bad hence went to see doctor this morning. Doc said that I have gastric flu. I never had such bad gastric for the rest of my life before. This was the first time my stomach felt very very sour. I read from this MOH website articles about Gastric Flu. Another medical term for gastric flu is Norovirus Gastroenteritis.

This means inflammation of the stomach and intestines. It may be caused by infection by certain bacteria, viruses or parasites. It may also be caused by certain medications or medical conditions. It can result in vomiting, diarrhoea or abdominal cramps. The symptoms are:
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhoea
- Abdominal
- Headache
- Muscle aches
- Tiredness
- Low-grade fever

Doctor have also instructed me to avoid spicy, sour and milk type of food. I had some medication and some rest today. Felt much better as compare to last night. Hopefully I will fully recover for my medical check up tomorrow. Feeling quite upset that it seems like I am easily fallen sick. Hmmmm from today onwards, more fruits and vegetables for me. For the past one week I have been eating fruits everyday, but I guess I did not eat enough. Another important thing that I should do is exercise. Hmmm.

Weekend

Planning a BBQ Buffet is the most troublesome thing I have ever done. Anyway that is the past and I don't wish to say much in here. Hmmmm. From some incident I can see who is helpful and who are not. Haha.

Yesterday heard a very sad news from a close collegue of mine. Hopefully all goes well for her. Time moving fast and it is weekend already.

The sharing of marriage

The old man placed order for one hamburger, French fries and a drink.

He unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half, placing one half in front of his wife.

He then carefully counted out the French fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife.

He took a sip of the drink, his wife took a sip and then set the cup down between them . As he began to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them were looking over and whispering.

Obviously they were thinking, 'That poor old couple - all they can afford is one meal for the two of them.'

As the man began to eat his fries a young man came to the table and politely offered to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man said, they were just fine - they always shared everything.

People closer to the table noticed the little old lady hadn't eaten a bite. She sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink.

Again, the young man came over and begged them to let him buy another meal for them. This time the old woman said 'No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything.'

Finally, as the old man finished and was wiping his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again came over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asked 'What is it you are waiting for?'

She answered

Past and Present

Haiz... Past few days have been quite busy at work. And lately weather have been quite hot.

Hmmmm someone have been asking me to post some picture of my company upcoming event. Sad to say it is upcoming event hence no photo taken yet so nothing to post. Haha.

But there is something I want to share here. Take a look at this picture below:



This was extract from one of my long time primary school buddies's facebook. It was such a comical picture that make all five of us have a good laugh. Haha.

Thinking back, it have been a long long way back of friendship ever since some of us know each other from 1990 till today. So much fun, laughter, angryness and sadness we once share. From us being in the same primary school, same class, stay in the same area to different school after that and some of us have shifted away from the same area we once used to share. But nevertheless, even though we seldom meet up but we will still keep each other update from facebook, MSN and as well as via SMS or telephone calls.

Regardless of past or present, I am glad to know them and grateful for them in whatever they have helped me previously. Although now all of us have our own life, but we still do remember each other dearly and it will be a good memories for us, for the rest of our lives.

Long weekend is arriving. Yeah!

Long weekend is coming soon and feeling quite happy about it.

This few days there are many thoughts in my mind. My life and my everything. Hmmmm. Lately throat start feeling very uncomfortable... kind of feeling bit down as hoping the throat will be fine soon. Don't want to fall sick as normally after sore throat will be cough, etc. My throat feels very uncomfortable but not so pain lah. Hmmm.

Time to go and have a rest.. Hopefully able to sleep well today. May I have a happy long weekend. =)

The Dead Cow and Vet School

First-year students at Melbourne Uni Vet school were receiving their first anatomy class, with a real dead cow.

They all gathered around the surgery table with the body covered with a white sheet. The professor started the class by telling them, 'In Veterinary Medicine it is necessary to have two important qualities as a veterinarian: The first is that you must not be disgusted by anything involving the animal body.' For an example, the Professor pulled back the sheet, stuck his finger in the butt of the dead cow, withdrew it and stuck his finger in his mouth.

'Go ahead and do the same thing,' he told his students. The students freaked out, hesitated for several minutes, but eventually took turns sticking a finger in the anal opening of the dead cow and sucking on it.

When everyone finished, the Professor looked at them and said, 'The second most important quality is observation. I stuck in my middle finger and sucked on my index finger.' 'Now learn to pay attention. Life's tough, it's even tougher if you're stupid.'

Black Monday

I decided to bold my words today because I had quite a black Monday instead of having Monday blues. So many funny funny stuffs that make me either I am feeling angry or feeling down. Lately many things happened everywhere, making me quite tired easily at night. Things meant not to become this, have became into this without any reasons given. Even if reasons was give, you have no power to fight it. That's life and I totally have to agree with it.

Experience are earned by all knocks and pains of hardship. That is also life. Everything you decide and everything that you face, have impact in you and your present and your future.

I realised that everyplace, the culture are totally different. It isn't just by a glance of look and you will realised. It is after you experience it yourself, you will then realised how different it can be. It is amazing that how a life can be.

There are many things running in my mind now, but what I can do now is to know what I really wants and what I really hope for. There are something, for sure that I know what I really wants and hope for. Something in this month that I am hoping will goes well. Hmmmmmm...

Tired but Nice Sunday

Hmmm having such a tired and dry eyes for quite some time today. I had quite a nice Sunday today. We tried to cook something different today, making our own Nor-Hiang for dinner. Really enjoy the cooking very much. Hehe.

Tomorrow will be another new week, really hoping that it will be a happy week for me. Lately haven't been really feeling happy but I will try and overcome it. Hmmmm... I guess I will have to rest early today so that I will have the enough energy to face tomorrow and each day of the week ahead.
