Recipe - Radish in Dried Cuttlefish Soup


Ingredients

1 (300g) radish
4 dried cuttlefish
500g spareribs
8 red dates
1800ml of water
Some salt and pepper

Method

1. Skin radish and cut into strips.

2. Soak dried cuttlefish until softened and remove soft bone.

3. Rinse spareribs and scald in boiling water then rinse with water again.

4. Rinse red dates.

5. Bring 1800ml of water in a pot to boil. Add radish followed by dried cuttlefish and bring to boil.

6. Add spareribs and red dates and continue to cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.

7. Turn to low heat and cook for 30 minutes till radish softened. Add seasonings and turn off heat.

Total Estimated Cooking Time: 1 hour and 15 minutes.
